![]() This probably helps save them from a bit of fatigue. I prefer to use a short guitar cable with a socket-to-socket adaptor on the other end to go into the AmPlug. I don't use them plugged directly into the guitar. This has gone away with the Version 2 revision. The only real tonal problem with the original one is that it would "bottom out" when you choke down hard on low end power chords. This issue has just recently put my Metal model into retirement as my partner just bought me the new AmPlug 2 Metal model a few days ago. Theyre great for practicing at home or while traveling, and the gyro sensor is super cool. But after a while the little pots in them become quite scratchy. I have been using mini amps for a long time and the Vox AmPlug2 is by far the best I have used. Our choice for the best guitar headphone amplifier is the Vox AmPlug 2 AC30. You can get the Vox AmPlug AC30 from Amazon here: The Mustang Micro is an all-in-one personal headphone amplifier with onboard DSP, making it a perfect choice at home or on the go. The Godin is loaded with Seymour Duncan humbuckers (Jazz on the neck and Custom Custom on the bridge I think) with coil taps. The Fender Mustang Micro Headphone Amplifier features 5 watts, 6.25D圆.25Wx2.12H inches. Recorded direct into my PC from my Godin LGX.
